On February 12, as the first medical team to help Jingmen, the critical care medical team if 35-people from Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine arrived in Jingmen and established COVID-19 ICU wards in Jingmen No.1 People's Hospital, bringing with them the mission to increase the cure rate, control mortality rate and keeping a reliable medical team from Zhejiang for Jingmen.

 

In the past 40 days, this medical team overcame many difficulties and succeeded in their mission: There were 23 beds in COVID-19 ICU, 25 patients got transferred out, 21 cured. The number of days of no new deaths has ranked the second in Hubei Province. The mortality rate of Jingmen has dropped to the fifth from the first, with no infection among medical staff.

 

The medical team from Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital also prepared carnation-patterned nurse uniforms and doctor's overall with the hospital's characteristics. They also invited all medical staff present that fought alongside to sign and keep it as a souvenir.

提高治愈率、控制病亡率、为当地留下一支带不走的“浙江队”,带着这样的艰巨任务,2月12日,作为浙江省首批支援荆门医疗队、浙江大学医学院附属邵逸夫医院35人组成的重症救治团队抵达荆门,迅速在荆门一医建立了新冠ICU病房。

 

在过去40个刻骨铭心的日日夜夜里,这支医疗队啃下一个又一个“硬骨头”,交出了一份满意的“答卷”:新冠肺炎ICU共开设病床23张,累计转出ICU 的患者25名,其中治愈出院患者21人;实现了连续“无新增死亡病例”天数最长保持湖北省内第二;荆门病亡率由湖北省内第一位下降至第五位,医护“零感染”。

 

浙大邵逸夫医院团队还精心准备了独具“邵医特色”的康乃馨护士服和白大褂,并邀请在场的所有参与抗疫战斗的医护人员签名,以留作纪念。
