Recently, Italy has implemented measures to lock down the entire whole in hope of controlling the pandemic. Italian people are only allowed to travel or leave their house in case of emergency or job requirements.

However, for a bubbly nation like Italy, home isolation doesn't put people off their passion for art...In fact, many people from Wenzhou who are currently in Italy also make home isolation artistic. Through various artworks that express the determination to control the pandemic, they have gathered the powerful strength and united.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Ye Lu, winner of the "Lifetime Achievement Award for Italian opera" and overseas Chinese of Wen nationality, has started to live at home. For nearly one or two months, she recorded a song every day through software, shared it with her friends, and decompressed it with music. The song Ye Lu sang, Everyone is a Good Kid, was composed by Wang Jiangchen, a student in Shanghai Conservatory of Music, majoring in composition. The lyrics of the song were written by Su Delai. "Singing is a good way to relieve stress. If you feel bored, come and sing with me and we'll fight the epidemic together." said the world-class soprano.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, Ma Panyun, a chef who had been working in France for 17 years from Wenzhou, resigned and chose home quarantine. "I can always find a job and the COVID-19 can get really serious. I might as well take a break." Being overseas for so many years, Ma Panyun has learned to fill the boredom of life with literature. He is also the deputy director and general secretary of the European Longyin Poem Club. During the quarantine, he has finished many seal cutting works, hoping to spiritually connect with his family in the hometown to unite against the pandemic.

At present, most Chinese in Milan have chosen home quarantine. During the quarantine, Zhou Jianhuang, president of the Italian Association of Chinese Poetry, Calligraphy, and Painting, has created quite a few artworks. "Regardless of where you are, no matter how serious the pandemic is getting, as long as we are united and willing to help one another, we can surely overcome the difficulty!" Zhou Jianhuang said.

Poetry is a brilliant treasure in Chinese culture. In Italy, an Italian Chinese Zhan Yingbiao, from Wenzhou, is keeping track of the pandemic and records his findings in the form of poems.

"At the front line of epidemic prevention and control, I am deeply touched by medical staff who tirelessly went out of their way to help the patients." Said Wang Xingrong, chairman of the General Chamber of Wenzhou Commerce of ASEAN and the president of the Wenzhou Association of Fellow in the Philippine. Staying at home during the outbreak, Wang used paintings to capture the most beautiful moments of the medical staff at the front line to pay tributes to them.

Wang Yuxuan, Wang Yuning, members of Huaxing Art Troupe, read a poem named Written To You; Lin Zixuan and his sister Lin Xinyu are singing the song I love you, China; Lin Qi, Lin Xiang, who are learning folk dance, are still practicing basic dancing skills; Zhang Zixi, who studies Guzheng (a string instrument, similar to a zither), plays with her mother Cao Lele... These children are from Wenzhou, though far away from home, they can still speak fluent Mandarin and have a patriotic heart.

近期，意大利在全国实施封城抗疫措施，如无紧急情况或者工作理由，意大利民众不准四处走动出门旅行。

不过，对于这个爱热闹的民族来说，在家隔离也阻挡不了对艺术的热情......实际上，不少海外温州人的居家隔离也是充满了满满艺术味儿。

海外温籍侨胞们用各式各样的抗疫艺术作品，汇聚海外温州人众志成城抗击疫情的强大力量。

自疫情发生以来，“意大利歌剧终身成就奖”获得者、温籍侨胞叶璐就开始了宅家生活，近一两个月来，她每天通过软件录制一首歌曲，分享给身边的朋友，用音乐为大家解压。这次叶璐所唱的歌曲《人人都是孩子》，由上海音乐学院作曲系的温籍学子王将臣作曲，作词者为苏德来。“唱歌是很好的解压方式，如果大家觉得无聊，可以跟我一起唱歌，共同战胜疫情。”这位世界级的女高音歌唱家如是说。

自海外疫情发生以来，在法国从事17年厨师行业的温籍侨胞麻盘云，主动提出了辞职，选择居家隔离。“工作随时可以找，疫情可大可小，就当给自己放个假吧。”在海外多年，麻盘云会利用文学创作丰富单调的生活，他还是欧洲龙吟诗社副社长兼秘书长。隔离期间，他完成了不少篆刻作品，希望在精神上跟家乡亲人共抗疫情。

目前，米兰大多数侨胞都安心居家隔离。宅家的时候，身为意大利中华诗书画艺术联合会会长的周建煌已经创作了好几幅作品。“无论国内同胞还是海外侨胞，疫情再险，只要我们守望相助，齐心协力抗击疫情，定能共克时艰！”周建煌说。

诗词，是中华文化中璀璨的瑰宝。在意大利，有一位名叫詹应彪的温籍侨胞，时刻关注着疫情变化，并以诗歌创作的方式进行记录。

“疫情防控一线，医护人员忙碌疲惫的身影让我的内心深受触动。”疫情期间，东盟温州总商会理事长、菲律宾温州同乡会会长王星荣宅在家中，手握画笔，用素描作品和水彩画定格医护人员的最美瞬间，向奋斗在战“疫”一线的“白衣天使”们致敬。

居家的华星艺术团学员王宇轩、王宇宁兄妹朗诵了一段《写给你》；林子轩和妹妹林馨语演唱着歌曲《我爱你，中国》；学民族舞的林琪、林想坚持练习舞蹈基本功；学古筝的张子曦和妈妈曹乐乐一起弹奏……这些孩子都是温州人，远在海外的他们，能说一口流利的普通话，都有一颗爱国心。
