At the local Greek time of 20th March, the first batch of anti-epidemic traditional Chinese medicines (preventive granular agents) donated by people from different circles of Lishui has arrived at Greece and freely allocated to the overseas Chinese compatriots.

On March 13th, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the United Front Work Department of the Lishui Municipal Committee donated this batch of anti-epidemic traditional Chinese granular medicines together with the people’s government of Qingtian County, Lishui Public Security Bureau, Red Cross Society of Lishui, Lishui Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Lishui Branch of the Bank of China, and the Overseas Chinese Federation of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, and Anhui in Guyane donated this batch of traditional Chinese anti-epidemic granular medicines. 

This batch of traditional Chinese medicines was jointly received by the Greece Overseas Chinese Association and the Greece Overseas Chinese Association of Qingtian. They were distributed to overseas Chinese compatriots in Greece. Zou Yong, as Chairman of the Greece Overseas Chinese Association, his wife He Xiaojuan, and the Chief Supervisor Zhan Miao, provided great support and help for the delivery of materials.

Fu Fangxiu, the Office Director of the Greece Overseas Chinese Association who took part in the distribution of anti-epidemic materials, reported, “When our homeland was in trouble, the overseas Chinese compatriots successively provided assistance. Now, the homeland is supporting us when we are badgered by the epidemic. We really appreciate this. The difficulties are temporary. We will definitely overcome the epidemic as long as all compatriots home and abroad work together against COVID-19.”

It is reported that after one or two days of allocation, many Greek compatriots have gotten the preventive traditional Chinese medicines.

希腊当地时间3月20日，丽水各方援助的第一批抗疫中药（预防颗粒剂）已到达希腊并免费发放至侨胞手中。

3月13日，丽水市委统战部(侨办)牵头组织，青田县人民政府、丽水市公安局、丽水市红十字会、丽水市中医院、中国银行丽水分行、法属圭亚那江浙沪华侨联合会等六个单位共同捐赠了这批中药防疫冲剂。

这批中药防疫冲剂通过希腊华侨华人总会和希腊青田同乡会接收，并统一分配给希腊当地侨胞。希腊华侨华人总会会长邹勇、何晓娟夫妇，监事长詹淼为物资运送抵达提供鼎力支持和帮助。

参加防疫物资发放工作的希腊华侨华人总会办公室主任傅方秀表示，“当祖国有难时海外侨胞纷纷伸出援助之手，现在侨胞遇到疫情，祖国家乡全力以赴给予支持，我们非常感谢！困难都是暂时的，只要海内外同胞心手相连、并肩抗“疫”，就一定能战胜疫情。”

据了解，经过这一两天的发放，很多的希腊侨胞已经领到了预防中药。
