Alibaba Cloud announced on March 18 that COVID-19 AI diagnostic technology was free to global hospitals during the epidemic. This technique can assist doctors to analyze CT images, quickly identify the focus part and proportion within 20 seconds, and quantify the severity of the case with an accuracy of more than 96%.

Up to February 16, the AI diagnosis technology has been launched in more than 160 hospitals in China, accumulating more than 260000 clinical diagnosis cases. With the overseas expansion of the epidemic, medical institutions in many overseas countries actively contact Alibaba Cloud, hoping to promote the application of relevant technologies overseas.

Alibaba Cloud indicated that up to now, Alibaba Cloud has deployed 63 availability zones in 21 regions around the world, covering more than 200 countries and regions, which will provide a solid digital foundation for the rapid output of these technologies.

2月16日，这套AI诊断技术至今已在国内160多家医院上线，累积临床诊断病例超26万例。伴随海外疫情的扩张，多个海外国家的医疗机构主动联系到阿里云，希望推进相关技术在海外落地应用。

阿里云方面表示，截至目前阿里云在全球21个地域部署63个可用区，服务覆盖200多个国家和地区，将为这些技术快速输出提供坚实数字基础。
