In 2018, three valuable items were selected by Zhejiang Provincial Museum to honorably represent Zhejiang’s Culture in the NATIONAL TREASURE, a cultural exploration program aired on CCTV. Zhejiang distinguished itself with the following treasures: Jue (penannular jade ring), afterglow-style ‘Caifeng Mingqi’ seven stringed guqin, and Wanggong sedan chair made in Ningbo.

The aforementioned three cultural relics unearthed in Zhejiang selectively represent the Neolithic jade culture origin 5,000 years ago, the prosperous time of Tang Dynasty and ultimately, the period of Republican China. Thanks to the blissful luck in 2018, Zhejiang is humbled to represent its culture of richness and antiquity in front of the nation and ready to be approved, even fascinated by the world.

Attending the national television show engages audiences to vote for their favorite treasure to be exhibited in the ‘Special National Treasure Exhibition’ in the Palace Museum. Savoring this beautiful cultural aria contributed by the economic prosperity and democratic sprout in Zhejiang, audiences are lucky to have such a great chance of learning the ever-lasting historical mystery of Zhejiang.
