"In 2022, the China National Silk Museum will celebrate its 30th anniversary, which coincides with my 30 years of work here. I want to have a grand birthday for it." Zhou Min, the deputy curator of the China National Silk Museum, said. At the 2022 media conference of China National Silk Museum held on Dec 28, 30-year Museum celebration special exhibition, National Silk and Clothing Festival, "International Museum Day" Forum... Following the positioning of "research-oriented, whole chain, internationalization and fashion model", China National Silk Museum will also adhere to its own "style" in exhibitions, activities, social education, exchanges and cooperation in 2022.

The Silk Road Week, jointly sponsored by the National Cultural Heritage Administration and the Zhejiang Provincial Government, is an annual highlight activity of the China Silk Museum. Zhao Feng, the curator of China Silk Museum, revealed that from 2022, the Silk Road Week will choose to cooperate with one province every year and jointly host with the local people to introduce the local silk road culture into Zhejiang, and expand the influence of the Silk Road Week outside the province, so as to better carry forward the Silk Road spirit. In the 2022 Silk Road Week, the main exhibition will tell the story of Tuyuhun on the Silk Road in the 6th-8th century in Changyun, Qinghai.

For Hangzhou, the Asian Games in 2022 will undoubtedly be the highlight of the year. Zhao Feng introduced that the China Silk Museum will launch a series of exhibitions and activities related to the Asian Games. For example, the Asian clothing exhibition will gather the national costumes of Asian, show the colorful appearance and unique customs of Asian clothing, and also reflect the close exchanges and mutual influence of the people of Asia". In addition, the Sports Fashion Exhibition launched in September will show the evolution of sportswear around the world and show the relationship between sports and fashion.

Since 2011, China National Silk Museum has held an annual Fashion Exhibition at the end of the year to collect and display the classic fashion works of well-known fashion designers in China. In 2022, the museum's annual Fashion Exhibition will continue to launch special fashion exhibitions with the theme of "Fashion +", so as to better promote special fashion research and interpret the cultural connotation of fashion from multiple levels and angles.
