The Luhua International Arts Festival, combined with the Third China-South Korea Exchange Concert, opened on July 21 in Anji county, Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province.

Musicians from China and South Korea delivered exciting performances, displaying their honed talents to the audience.

The three-day event kicked off with a dynamic percussion piece called War Drums played by the Huda Percussion Ensemble, setting a powerful tone. Following this, a variety of performances from both Chinese and South Korean musicians were a clear hit with the audience. In particular, the piano suite Taihu, Impromptu and the South Korean song MiryangArirang, both met with enthusiastic applause.

The concert featured a rich array of music, including pieces for percussion, vocal solos, saxophone solos, and guitar ensembles.

Established in 2017, the Luhua International Arts Festival, initially known as the South Taihu Lake Luhua Music Festival, has become a key event for artistic exchanges in the Yangtze River Delta region. It provides a platform for displaying talent and fostering cultural dialogues.

This year's festival featured the Huacai Cup National Guitar Competition, a percussion competition, a China-South Korea youth exchange concert, a classical guitar champion concert, and an outdoor music festival.

Deng Xiaoran, founder of the Luhua International Arts Festival, emphasized its grassroots origins and its role in enhancing regional cultural exchanges.
