The opening ceremony of the 2025 Silk Road Week was held at the China National Silk Museum in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province on July 11.
This year's theme, “Silk Ties the Ages, Roads Network the World”, highlights the enduring legacy and global connectivity of the Silk Road. Brazil was invited as the Country of Honor, and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region was designated as the Province of Honor.
