China Tourism Year opens in Kazakhstan with Silk Road exhibition

6月16日，哈萨克斯坦“中国旅游年”开幕式在阿斯塔纳哈萨克斯坦国家博物馆举行。中国文化和旅游部部长孙业礼、哈萨克斯坦旅游和体育部部长梅尔扎博瑟诺夫出席开幕式并致辞。

The opening ceremony of the “China Tourism Year” in Kazakhstan took place today at the National Museum of Kazakhstan in Astana, on June 16. Chinese Minister of Culture and Tourism Sun Yeli and Kazakh Minister of Tourism and Sports Merzabosenov were in attendance and delivered opening remarks.

开幕式上，孙业礼、梅尔扎博瑟诺夫共同为“丝绸与丝路:从中国到哈萨克斯坦”展览揭幕。该展览是本次旅游年的主要活动之一，旨在展示丝路文化深厚的历史底蕴和充满活力的现代发展，展现中国与丝绸之路沿线国家的友好交流和文化交融。展览分为丝之源、丝之路、丝之用3个部分，展出从古代丝绸文物到现代丝绸艺术品共计145件(套)展品，其中文物21件(套)。展览将持续至8月8日。

The highlight of the ceremony was the joint unveiling by Sun and Merzabosenov of the exhibition “Silk and the Silk Road: From China to Kazakhstan”. As one of the flagship events of the tourism year, the exhibition aims to explore the historical heritage of the Silk Road and its modern development, as well as cultural exchanges and integration between China and Silk Road countries. Organized into three themes — “Origins of Silk”, “Silk Road”, and “Applications of Silk” — the exhibition features 145 artifacts (sets), including 21 cultural relics, ranging from ancient silk items to contemporary art works. The exhibition will run through August 8 .

开幕式上还举办了文艺演出、汉服时装秀、非遗体验等活动。中国丝绸博物馆与哈萨克斯坦国家博物馆签署了合作备忘录。

In addition to the exhibition, attendees enjoyed cultural performances, a Hanfu fashion show, and intangible heritage interactive experiences. Meanwhile, the China National Silk Museum and the National Museum of Kazakhstan signed a memorandum of cooperation to strengthen ongoing cultural collaboration.
