On August 23, the Jinyi New Urban District Administrative Committee signed a cooperation framework agreement with China International Electronic Commerce Center (CIECC). Based on the principles of "complementary advantages, mutual benefit, cooperation, and common development," the two sides have established long-term and stable strategic cooperative relations in cross-border e-commerce and are promoting the high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce in the New District.


According to the agreement, the two sides will jointly hold the China Global Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference and fully empower the organizing committee of the conference to raise the conference to the national level, with continuous influence and brand appeal.


In addition, the two sides also agreed to carry out comprehensive cooperation in industry research on e-commerce, planning consultation, high-end forums, construction of a national e-commerce demonstration base, big data application, and talent cultivation. Their cooperative relationship will create a competitive industrial market, a modal innovation base, and a talent cultivation base out of Jinyi New Urban District, and jointly build a demonstration district in the cross-border e-commerce field.


At the signing ceremony, Cheng Changsheng, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee of Jinyi Urban New District and director of the Jinyi Comprehensive Free Trade Zone (Jinyi FTZ) Management Committee, said that cooperation between the New District and the CIECC has a sound base, and the development is complementary. He hopes that they can make full use of their respective advantages and form a driving force to continuously improve the 5thGlobal Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference.
