Located near the Great Canal in Hangzhou, China Knife, Scissors and Sword Museum aims at publicizing techniques of the Chinese in making knives, scissors and swords to develop and protect traditional Chinese crafts and arts.

Covering a floor area of 2460 square meters, the museum is a national platform integrating collection, research, exhibition, education, publicization, recreation and shopping. History, unique structures and patterns of knives, scissors and swords are displayed from different perspectives in the museum, where visitors can have an in-depth culture experience.

The highlight of the museum lies in the exploration of spirit behind the exhibits. For example, by the combination of the reproduced scene of minting swords and the model of sword minting procedure with bronzes, visitors are empowered to learn about the story behind the procedure, thus understanding the importance of minting an excellent sword to a craftsman working on it.
